Yoga was traditionally taught 1-2-1 to meet the needs of the individual student. A private yoga session allows for a more intimate view into YOUR practice. You can start a new practice, deepen your current practice or spend some time working with an injury or specific goal or concern.
Private yoga classes are an investment for your personal growth and health. They are a great way to start your yoga practice in a more solid footing before you join group yoga sessions or provide intensive training and exclusive attention.
If you already have a strong personal practice it is the perfect way to receive individual attention and correct bad habits. This can be from your home, in a garden, park or a room can be arranged.
Group and Private lessons are available direct to your office. Just find a suitable space.
Classes can also incorporate pair work including acrobatic balances, if you are feeling brave! Poses can facilitate trust, cooperation and fun, helping to boost staff morale and relations.
Be sure to let your teacher know before a class if you have any form of injury or serious illness, or if you are pregnant or have recently had a baby.
Leave approximately half an hour after drinking liquids and 2-4 hours after solid foods (depending on how much you've eaten) before practising yoga postures. Allow your body time to digest food and eliminate liquids. Wear comfortable clothes that do not restrict your movements or breathing.
Yoga is always practised in bare feet.
